Dying Light 2: Stay Human, 16 min 4K Gameplay

Pending its release on PC and console, Dying Light 2: Stay Human offers a 16-minute gameplay video in 4k. It reveals many things including some game mechanics.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is an Action-RPG and Survival Horror video game. Developed and distributed by Techland, it is expected on PC and console (PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series). As its name easily suggests, it follows Dying Light released in 2015. Its existence was revealed in 2018 during E3.

Since its release has been postponed twice. On January 20, 2020, Techland announced that the appointment was postponed to spring 2020. It took until December for a member of the Techland team to set a specific date, February 7, 2022.

Dying Light 2: Stay Huma, a dynamic open world

Dying Light 2 will feature a massive first-person open world. The player finds himself propelled into an apocalyptic environment filled with infected. The story takes place fifteen years after Dying Light. The hero Aiden Caldwell has multiple skills while being able to move vertically with actions like climbing, sliding, jumping on ledges and walls to traverse the city faster from the roofs.

The gameplay video reveals the use of a parachute, ventilation to regain altitude or even different possibilities during combat. Note that the engine will normally offer a dynamic open world with architectural changes over time depending on the player’s choices. To all this is added an oppressive atmosphere, a detailed city, buildings and skyscrapers of all kinds, all occupied by vegetation, undead and enemy factions.
