APUs Ryzen and Lisa Su
According to a benchmark database, the Ryzen 9 6900HX mobile chip is 33% more efficient than its predecessor, the Ryzen 9 5900HX.
The information is taken from the Geekbench database. This Ryzen 9 6900HX is not a discovery since it was officially announced during CES 2022. We have a “Rembrandt” generation chip. Its Zen 3 architecture mechanics take advantage of 6 nm engraving to give life to 8 physical cores and 16 logical cores. It is a mobile processor with an adjustable thermal envelope of 45 W. It can therefore be higher, which can lead to a reduction in the autonomy of the laptop.
Ryzen 9 6900HX, a 33% boost
L’Entrance in Geekbench does not give any information about it. Clearly we do not know the exact value of the TDP. On the other hand, the “bugger” gets a score of 1593 points in single-core and 10,151 points in multi-core which positions it ahead of its big brother the Ryzen 5900HX. In detail, we are on a balance sheet up 12% in single core and 33% in multicore. On the other hand, all this is not enough to worry Intel’s Core i9-12900H, a 14C/20T chip with a TDP of 45 Watts. It maintains a lead of between 7% and 21% in single-core and between 37% and 42% in multi-core.
